Preference will be given to activity based\/ interactive workshops proposals where participants are introduced to new ways of working in and understanding the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do we mean by that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Example topics could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">How sketching communicates or conveys information otherwise unobtainable or not understandable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>How sketching is being redefined by new technologies.<\/li>\n<li>How sketching can be a facilitator of deep discussions.<\/li>\n<li>How sketching in disciplines and practices has challenged or changed the \u2018standard approach\u2019 or \u2018typical knowledge generation\u2019 in a meaningful way.<\/li>\n<li>How sketching has crossed genre boundaries and blurred distinctions in the way information, ideas and stories are communicated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"entry-content\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>What formats are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interactive workshops (30 mins &#8211; 1 hour)<\/li>\n<li>Presentations (30 mins)<\/li>\n<li>Roundtable Sessions (10 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sketchpractice.ca\/blog\/call-for-proposals-2018\/\">See this link for more information and to apply.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you use drawing as a way to engage with ideas?
