  • Forget da Vinci: All Abilities Welcome at the Sketching in Practice Symposium

Like zombies, shark tornadoes, and Wi-Fi dead zones, the idea of putting pen to paper strikes fear in the hearts of many adults.

We get it. I for one can remember the kids in my grade 8 art class laughing hysterically at my sketch of Princess Ariel getting married (though to be fair to them it did look more like a whale carcass on roller skates than a mermaid bride).

Luckily, the Sketching in Practice Symposium is a judgement-free, all-levels-of-(non)-expertise-welcomed zone.

If you can draw a straight line,  or a wavy one, or even a squiggle, then you will be ready to engage with the many exciting approaches, tools, and ways of thinking that our presenters will be sharing.

Still don’t believe us? Watch the Squiggle Bird video above to see how even your messiest line can be turned into an adorable tweeter.
