Redrawing the Future, One Poster at a Time

A Radical History Poster Project

Draw the world you want to see.

That is the inspiration behind the Graphic History Collective’s radical history poster project.

Each poster tells the story of a group whose struggles in Canada—from Caribbean caregivers in the 1900s to present day Yukon First Nations—have been largely ignored.

According to the Collective, the goal of creating them is to create accessible and informative representations that celebrate change makers of the past—to fuel change makers of today.  The ultimately goal: to help everyone “dream of a better world.”

Learn how to create your own radical history poster with the Collective’s Kara Sievewright  and Robin Folvik at Sketching in Practice.
