Sketching In Practice Mendeley Group

Hello Everyone,

It has been a while! Jason and I have started a Sketching in Practice Mendeley group. To quote Wikipedia, “Mendeley is a desktop and web program produced by Elsevier for managing and sharing research papers, discovering research data and collaborating online.” If you are writing papers or just interested, you are welcome to join our group! Just go to Mendeley groups and search “Sketching In Practice” (be sure to put the name in quotation marks or you will get thousands of results). Group is open for anyone to join.

We are starting to prepare for SKiP June 2020!! More to come, soon.

SKiP 2018 – Parking, wayfinding and food trucks!

Only a few days until SKiP 2018! Make sure you come to “the hanger” for registration.
There are 14 stalls for parking in the front of 577 Great Northern Way with 2 reserved for accessible parking and 2 reserved for the Kakfa café (serving coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch items).
Behind the CDM at 685 Great Northern Way(access from Fraser Street) are 6 stalls marked CDM visitor and 8 stalls marked Visitor (these are closer to the rail road tracks). There are also 2 charging station stalls on the west side of the parking lot, close to the Hanger.
Otherwise there is a public pay parking lot to the east (towards VCC-Clark Station) or on street (free) parking.
There will be food trucks at the back of the Hanger at 577 (north side) on Thursday and Friday. The scheduled food trucks are: Super Thai Food on Thursday and Tacofino Pink Truck on Friday. These food trucks are available 11:30 am to 2 pm on both days. For those adventurous foodies, there will also be a food truck at 887, east of Fraser Street (Fat Duck Mobile Eatery on Thursday and Aussie Pie Guy on Friday).
